Alliant Food Safety Labs, LLC offers a comprehensive nutritional analysis service for U.S. FDA and USDA-regulated food products.
Our Full Analytical Chemistry Nutritional Report ($1045) includes a detailed breakdown of the nutrient content of your product, including critical Nutrition Facts categories such as calories, total fat, saturated fat, trans fat, cholesterol, sodium, total carbohydrate, dietary fiber, total sugars, added sugars, protein, vitamin D, calcium, iron, and potassium. Other nutrients can also be analyzed at an additional cost.
If Nutrition facts Panels are completed using ESHA’s Genesis R&D software, the Fee is $175. 00. This industry-standard tool provides validated nutrient values from USDA Standard Reference, manufacturers’ specification sheets, and literature sources. For multi-component ingredients, we require a minimum of 100-gram nutritional information from your suppliers or a Nutrition Facts Panel, at a minimum.
Based on our database nutrition analysis or your 100-gram lab data, we determine the serving size, apply rounding rules, calculate % Daily Values, and then prepare a fully compliant Nutrition Facts Panel that meets the requirements of the Nutrition Labeling and Education Act. This includes a graphic file for your printer, artist, or package designer, backup documentation, and a 100-gram Report for your product. Additional images and nutrient reports are available for an additional $45.00.
We also offer an Ingredient Statement & Allergen Review service ($100.00) that includes a concise and consumer-friendly text for your ingredients based on your recipe formulation and raw material specifications. We ensure compliance with FDA regulations, including the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act for allergen statement text and any necessary label warnings for health risk ingredients. We also assess ingredients and determine bioengineered labeling statements required by the National Bioengineered Food Disclosure Law to ensure complete compliance.
